IBEW Local 99 has been training and providing the highest skilled and most productive craftsmen and craftswomen in the industry since the dawn of electricity. The world has changed significantly in that time, however our commitment to our customers, our contractors and the people of Rhode Island and South Eastern Massachusetts is as strong today as it was 120 years ago.
Previous Experience
The men and women of Local 99 are well versed in every aspect of the electrical industry. Our people were the driving force behind the creation of our nation’s first offshore wind project. In addition to the installation of the Block Island Wind Farm, we have installed and maintained numerous wind turbines on land. Our training facility is constantly evolving to assure that our people are extremely well trained on every aspect of renewable energy projects, as well as all conventional electrical installations. We do this to be confident that every project is delivered on time, on budget and with the highest level of safety possible in the industry.
