Blount Boats has been building high quality, innovative shallow draft designs for 73 years. Blount Boats built the first U.S. flagged crew transfer vessel for Atlantic Wind Transfers for service on Deepwater’s 30 megawatt Block Island Wind Farm. In January 2021, the 65-foot crew transfer vessel, Atlantic Endeavor built for Atlantic Wind Transfers was delivered to the Dominion Energy Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Farm to support two Siemens Gamesa turbines. Blount Boats can build all designs of crew transfer vessels (CTV’s) needed in this new and growing industry. Blount Boats, located on Narragansett Bay, is also ideally suited to maintain wind service vessels.
Crew Transfer Vessel deliveries: 21 meter, Atlantic Pioneer built for Atlantic Wind Transfers and delivered April 2016 for service on Deepwater's 30 Megawatt Block Island Wind Farm. 19.8 meter, Atlantic Endeavor (Right Whale Compliant CTV) built for Atlantic Wind Transfers and delivered January 2021 for service to the Dominion Energy Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Farm.
