The Business Network for Offshore Wind is a nonprofit, educational organization with a mission to develop the offshore wind renewable energy industry and its supply chain. With offices in Maryland, Virginia, Rhode Island, and Maine, the Network partners with industry and government to build an innovative supply chain that will create and sustain jobs, benefiting local economies and ensuring a cost-effective clean energy portfolio. We advance this through collaboration, education, and innovation, bringing together global developers, policymakers, academia, and leading experts to grow this new and vital offshore wind industry that provides a practical solution to climate change and creates well-paying jobs.

Previous Experience

Dating back to 2013, the Network has served a pivotal role in the development of the offshore wind industry in the United States. The Business Network for Offshore Wind is a member-driven nonprofit committed to developing the supply chain and workforce for the rapidly growing U.S. offshore wind renewable energy industry. Throughout the years, we have brought together thousands of businesses, developers, policymakers, international experts, and economic development agencies to build and grow the industry for the benefit of our economy, environment, and workforce. From working groups and policy recommendations, to speaking opportunities at local and national events, the Network has been the leading collaborative voice for the industry.
