Previous Experience
NVTS participated in the Offshore Wind Challenge from Greentown Labs and Vineyard Wind. The focuses of the pilot project were to understand more aspects of the endangered whale crisis, examine current obstacles that could be solved with AI-powered whale detection through EO/IR camera systems, and develop a proof of concept system that could identify thermal and visible images of whales at long distance in live time.
